Good Things

good things come in threes—-
like lines in haiku poems,
making us happy

good things come in threes—-
like the start, middle, and end
of a good story

good things come in threes—-
like triplets identical,
instant family
good things come in threes—-
like see, hear, speak no evil,
the three wise monkeys

good things come in threes—-
like gold, silver, bronze medals
in competitions

good things come in threes—-
like the red, blue, and yellow
primary colours
good things come in threes—-
like bright, green, three-leaf clovers,
symbols of good luck

good things come in threes—-
like the macronutrients,
carbs, proteins, and fats

good things come in threes—-
like three groups of three haiku,
all strung together

  3. A good list. I love the way you separated them into 3s by shading. Clever.
