Talking About Writing

I attended an author talk with Simon Winchester (author of The Professor & The Madman, among many other books) that was sponsored by my Ohio library a few weeks ago. I didn’t think I’d like the guy, but was mildly curious. I found him a fascinating, self-deprecating raconteur with a lot of fun stories. And some great opinions about the writing process, research, and publishing. It runs an hour, but if you have the time, I highly recommend it. (He’s now on my imaginary “dinner party” guest list!)
