We’re nestled in our motorhome
Of fiberglass and shiny chrome
Rollin’ down the busy highway-
Truck in tow as off we go!
Living in a House on Wheels.
Hubby’s in the driver’s seat
With glass of tea and salty treat
I am set to navigate
Aptly called hub’s “first mate”.
Nestled in our motorhome
Of fiberglass and shiny chrome
Movin’ on the busy highway
Truck in tow as off we go!
Living in a House on Wheels.
On and on and on we roll
Hours movin’ takes its toll
Then appears an RV park;
We can camp before it’s dark!
Slides out, jacks down
Sittin’ level all around.
Nestled in our motorhome
Of fiberglass and polished chrome
Settled in a local campground
It’s the one “first mate” had found.
Living in a House on Wheels.
Morning beckons, we awake
Arguing which path to take.
Breakfast over, dishes done;
Now’s the time to have some fun!
Slides in, jacks up;
Guzzle coffee from a cup.
Nestled in our motorhome
Of fiberglass and shiny chrome
Heading out for parts unknown
Happiness our lives have shown,
Living in a House on Wheels.
After that fun song, I just might but a RV on my bucket list!

As always, you eclipse the rest of us! A fun read. Incidentally we went to an RV show this past Sunday and looked at one that cost over $500K. It had a stacked washer/dryer, full-size refrigerator, bath and a half, lots of marble and wood, etc. If we had that much money, we’d also hire a driver to do the work of traveling! (Ha.)

I had a 33 footer with 2 slide outs! Loved the evoked memories! Thanks!
